Honor's Stand formerly guarded the west road between Sun Rock Retreat and the Crossroads. Prior to the Cataclysm it consisted of a number of burrows, some badly damaged. It has, in the past, been the location for many great battles between the Horde and its enemies. The orcs formerly stationed there, including peons tasked with repairing the buildings, were very much conscious of the outpost's illustrious, if short, history, including attacks mounted by the Kolkar Centaur.
In the Cataclysm, the buildings within Honor's Stand were burned to the ground and the land taken by the Alliance.[1] It now serves as an Alliance quest hub.
