Previous effect: Apply Hunter's Mark to the target, increasing all damage you deal to the marked target by 5%. If the target dies while affected by Hunter's Mark, you instantly gain 20 Focus. The target can always be seen and tracked by the Hunter. Only one Hunter's Mark can be applied at a time.
Hotfix (2018-07-31): Will no longer break the caster out of the effects of [Camouflage].

Previous effect: Your auto shots have a chance to cause your next Arcane Shot or Multi-Shot to apply Hunter's Mark. Hunter's Mark activates Marked Shot.

Previous effect: Places the Hunter's Mark on the target, increasing the ranged damage of all attackers against that target by 5%. The target can always be seen and tracked by the Hunter. Arcane Shot, Chimera Shot, Kill Command, and Explosive Shot automatically apply Hunter's Mark. Lasts for 5 min.
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now increases ranged damage done by 5% instead of increasing attack power.
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Now has no cost (was 2% of base mana).
Patch 3.1.3 (2009-06-02): The ranged attack power bonus from this ability has been increased from 300 to 500.

Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Hunter's Mark no longer adds additional attack power from ranged attacks. Received a new visual spell effect.
Patch 2.2.0 (2007-09-25): The duration remaining graphic will now display properly for Hunter's Mark after it has been refreshed on a target, and will properly consume mana when recasting it to refresh its duration.
Patch 2.1.0 (2007-05-22): This ability now becomes stronger each time the target is struck by a ranged attack.
