Hyjal is a large mountain that contains the zones of Hyjal Summit, Winterspring, Ashenvale, and Felwood. It most likely also includes Darkshore, Moonglade, and Azshara.[citation needed]
There is a closed instance within Hyjal Summit which may or may not be currently in development; as of now there is a door that looks like teeth blocking the green portal at [50, 83] in Winterspring. There is a Caverns of Time instance called the Battle for Mount Hyjal, so the present-day version may be scrapped.
Mount Hyjal contains a winding trail, what appears to be Highborne ruins, craters from past battles, and — at the end of the World Tree Nordrassil on top of the Well of Eternity — the remains of the demon Archimonde.
