Illustrious^[1][2] is the seventh stage of a profession learned at the appropriate profession trainer.

Profession skill levels fall into seven stages of increasing ability to learn and execute recipes: Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert, Artisan, Master (), Grand Master () and Illustrious ().

Notes

Not counting any racial or other bonuses, at a skill level of 425^{[citation needed]} you can learn the Illustrious stage and gain up to a maximum of 525 points.^[1][2]
