Drysc (real name Micah Whipple) is a Blizzard employee and was a Community Manager for the US World of Warcraft forums before moving onto the Diablo 3 Community Team. He is a large fan of both the bands Tool and The Mars Volta.
In the public test realm for patch 2.1.0, Drysc summoned 40-man raid bosses in Shattrath City.
A Draenei NPC in the Exodar's Crystal Hall is named after the CM.
He is now known as Bashiok, largely in the Diablo 3 community, but he posts on the WoW forums with that avatar now as well.
