In Defense of the King's Lands is an alliance quest chain which is based in Loch Modan. Each step has a different quest giver, although all are stationed at the Southern Guard Tower in the Valley of Kings in the south of Loch Modan. They each challenge the adventurer with tougher troggs.

Component Quests
Mountaineer Cobbleflint asks you to kill 10 Stonesplinter Troggs and 10 Stonesplinter Scouts. These are found just up the road in Stonesplinter Valley. The entrance of the valley is near (27,65), then turn east to find 3 different camps of troggs.
Mountaineer Wallbang asks you to kill 10 Stonesplinter Skullthumpers and 10 Stonesplinter Seers. While they can also be found in Stonesplinter Valley, some find them easier to hunt on the northernmost island in The Loch around (52,21).
Mountaineer Gravelgaw asks you to kill 10 [[Stonesplinter Bonesnapper|Stonesplinter Bonesnappers] and 10 Stonesplinter Shaman]. While they can be found in Stonesplinter Valley at (36,80), they are also found on the northernmost island in The Loch at (50,25). It would be efficient to hunt for Bingle's Tools at the same time. Captain Rugelfuss asks you to kill the Trogg leader Grawmug and his two guards. They can be found in a cave on the south-east side of Stonesplinter Valley. The three also attack together, so working in a group is implied. The cave entrance is at (35,83) while Grawmug himself is at (34,90) inside.
Rewards
If the player follows the entire quest chain from beginning to end, he or she will receive:
