- Great magics are possible with sufficient faith and will.TCGDP 72
Inner Focus is a temporary buff that can be acquired from the Discipline talent tree. When activated, it reduces the Mana cost of your next spell by 100% and increases its critical effect chance by 25%.
Notes
- This ability does not trigger the Global Cooldown.
Tips and Tactics
- Is often used in conjunction with Devouring Plague or Prayers, due to their huge mana costs. It is especially useful for Prayer of Healing, as this spell uses both aspects of Inner Focus.
- It may be useful to use it early in long fights, to be able to use it more than once.
- Because Inner Focus reduces your next spell's cost to 0, the next spell cast does not trigger the five second rule for casting, allowing you to regenerate mana as if you were not casting. Chained with a Clearcasing proc and spirit increasing trinkets, this can allow you to regenerate a truly massive amount of mana in combat.
Past changes
- As of Patch 2.4, Chastise now benefits from Inner Focus. In addition, Starshards no longer consumes Inner Focus. Also, Touch of Weakness and Shadowguard will no longer consume the Inner Focus charge when triggered.
