Inner Focus is a priest ability learned at level 36 for those with the Discipline specialization. It reduces the mana cost of a trio of healing spells, as well as increasing their critical strike effect by 100%.

Patch changes

• Patch 5.1.0 (27-Nov-2012): Spells affected by Inner Focus cast while Spirit Shell is active now fully apply critical effect heals to the shield provided. 
  
• Patch 4.0.6 (8-Feb-2011): Strength of Soul now occurs when the priest casts Inner Focus on oneself, rather than Power Word: Shield. In addition, Strength of Soul now also causes the priest to become immune to silence, interrupt, and dispel effects for 2/4 seconds after using Inner Focus. 
  
• Patch 3.1.0 (14-Apr-2009): Mental Agility, Inner Focus, Shadow Reach, Shadow Focus and Shadow Affinity now all affect Psychic Horror. 
  
• Patch 3.0.3 (04-Nov-2008): Inner Focus: Now works properly with Mind Flay, Mind Sear, and Penance.; Inner Focus will now properly increase the critical strike chance of the talent Penance. 
  
• Patch 2.4.0 (25-Mar-2008): Chastise now benefits from Inner Focus. In addition, Starshards no longer consumes Inner Focus. Also, Touch of Weakness and Shadowguard will no longer consume the Inner Focus charge when triggered. 
  
• Patch 2.3.0 (13-Nov-2007): Inner Focus will now properly affect Lightwell Rank 4; This effect is now properly consumed by casting Mind Soothe.
