Insectoids are semi-humanoids which are part insect.

So far the only insectoids are:

• Aqir - Historical parent race of most other insectoids. Do not appear in World of Warcraft as such.
• Nerubian - However, most encountered are classified as Undead in service of the Scourge. Independent Nerubians are rumored to exist in Northrend.
• Qiraji - Intelligent descendants of the Aqir.
• Silithid - Primitive descendants/ancestors of the Aqir, generally ruled by the Qiraji.
