Wyrmbreaker comes with a protodrake that will throw fireballs at multiple raid members throughout the fight. It is best to ignore this drake, and concentrate on the boss, as fireballs can be dodged easily or healed through.

Halfus Wyrmbreaker is also accompanied by several drakes which you can choose to free throughout the fight, which have different effects. They appear to be allies, but will be mind controlled after a few seconds of their release. In the 10 man instance, there are only three (recent beta build) available

The Time Warden

Casts a rooting debuff on players and slows down the speed of the fireballs of the protodrake, making it easier to dodge them on the floor.


The Slate Dragon

Periodically stuns the whole raid for 15 seconds, but puts a debuff on Halfus Wyrmbreaker to periodically stun him as well. The raidwide stun is only active when the Slate Dragon is activated and alive. The debuff on Halfus Wyrmbreaker lasts throughout the remainder of the encounter.


The Orphaned Emerald Whelps

While involved in combat: Reduces raid damage dealt by 50%.
