Jubei'Thos, a fel orc blademaster, took up leadership of the Blackrock clan orcs who managed to elude capture by the humans when Doomhammer disappeared. When Thrall began the new Horde, Jubei'Thos did not allow his people to join, believing Thrall to be nothing more than a charismatic heretic, and that the demonic magics of Gul'dan's preaching were the true destiny of the Horde. Instead he took all followers he could find, and created the Dark Horde.
Jubei'Thos and the Blackrock warlocks sensed that the second coming of the Burning Legion was at hand, and took steps to prepare. Jubei'Thos and the Slave Master, an orcish warlord, captured many humans in the town of Strahnbrad. Despite the defeat of the Slave Master, a Blademaster sacrificed the villagers to his demonic masters, however, when Arthas and Uther discovered this, they raided the Blackrock encampment and killed the Blademaster.[1] After this defeat Jubei'Thos packed up his things and retreated with his clan leaders into the Alterac Mountains. There they built a demon gate, and his obsession led to his corruption. He became what was known as a "fel orc".
When Kel'Thuzad was reborn as a lich, he found the demon gate was needed to commune with the demon lord Archimonde. In an effort to reclaim it Arthas and Kel'thuzad battled the orcs guarding it. Jubei'Thos believed that the Scourge was an impure race to the demons, and that his people were truly the chosen of the Burning Legion. Jubei'Thos and his clan mates died defending the gate against Kel'thuzad and Arthas.[2]
However, this would not be the end of the Blackrock clan. Rend Blackhand, the son of the original chieftain of the clan during the First War -Blackhand the Destroyer-, had his warriors of the Dark Horde stationed in Blackrock Spire when Jubei'Thos was killed, there they continue fighting against Stormwind.
Trivia
Jubei is the name of a random Blademaster. As with Haomarush, Genjuros, and Khanzo, Jubei'Thos is named after a character from the Samurai Shodown fighting game series, Jubei Yagyu.
