Tier 2 drops mainly in Blackwing Lair.

Exceptions are the headpiece — which drops from Onyxia in Onyxia's Lair — and the legpiece — which drops from Ragnaros in the Molten Core.

It is considered by many to be one of the best-looking armor sets in the game.
