Kaldrigos was a dread wyrm, probably a blue wyrm, according to his name.

Many dwarves tried to kill him:

• The shadow priest Anund, who was burned to death with his [staff] by the wyrm's arcanic breath.
• Horuz Killcrow, who mistakenly stood behind the dragon. He was killed by the wyrm's tail and his [shield] was dented.
• Tunadil the Redeemer, a brave Paladin. During the fight he fell upon his own [sword] and was killed.
• Korl finally killed the dragon, piercing his heart with a [silver kris].
