Kang Bramblestaff is a pandaren graduate of the Tian Monastery in the Jade Forest. He is eager to use the skills he has learned, and has embarked on a quest with his friends (Xiao, Lin Tenderpaw, Clever Ashyo, and Ken-Ken) to find the "Hidden Master" and continue his training.

One location he can be found is at Pang's Stead in the Valley of the Four Winds. He and his friends separate to pursue their quest; Kang travels south into the Krasarang Wilds. Xiao notes that Kang's pride regularly turns into overconfidence as he routinely walks dangerous paths.
