Bio-Optic Killshades are a variety of head-worn items created by Engineers with a minimum skill of 525. Each class is offered training to create only a select variety of these, usually limited to a single type.
Details
Item | Armor type | Class(es) |
---|---|---|
[Lightweight Bio-Optic Killshades] | cloth | Mage, Priest, Warlock |
[Agile Bio-Optic Killshades] | leather | Rogue (also Druid ?) |
[Camouflage Bio-Optic Killshades] | leather | Druid |
[Deadly Bio-Optic Killshades] | Hunter (also Shaman ?) | |
[Energized Bio-Optic Killshades] | Shaman | |
[Reinforced Bio-Optic Killshades] | plate | Death knight, Warrior (also Paladin?) |
[Specialized Bio-Optic Killshades] | plate | Paladin |
All versions of Bio-Optic Killshades have two Cogwheel Sockets, allowing two Cogwheel gems (and only cogwheel gems) to be installed. Note that currently, all Cogwheel gems are unique-equipped, meaning that only one of that type of gem may operate at a time.
Notes
While they all require a minimum character level of 81 to wear, they require a [Chaos Orb] to create, which currently is Bind on Pickup, requiring a minimum level of 85 to acquire. Similarly, while they do not list a class requirement, these head items are also Bind on Pickup and thus cannot currently be acquired by a class other than the one(s) the recipe is offered to.
These restrictions may be lifted in the future, allowing these items to become tradeable.
