Uses
- A finishing shot intended for use on targets with 20% or less health remaining.
- This is extremely useful against magic shield abilities, e.g. Power Word: Shield, Mana Shield and Sacrifice, and mage Ice Barriers.
- Bears a similarity to a Warrior's Execute and a Paladin's Hammer of Wrath ability.
Patch changes
- Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): Cooldown reduced to 15 seconds, down from 35 sec.
- Patch 3.2.2 (2009-09-22): Minimum range of 5 yards added.
