Killing Machine is a Death knight talent located in the 4th tier of the Frost Tree.
The mechanics of this talent have changed in patch 3.0.8. Rather than requiring critical hits it now uses a proc-per-minute system. Killing Machine seems to proc 5 times per minute, or 10 times per minute if you're using two weapons.
Patch changes
- Hotfix (2009-04-01): "The weapon enchants Rune of Razorice and Rune of Lichbane will no longer cause the Killing Machine talent to be triggered more often. [1]"
