• His counterpart in Un'Goro Crater is known as King Mosh.
• Interestingly, the color of his hide makes many think of him as Yoshi, who's also green. Also, the spines on his back make him look similar to King Bowser, the evil Koopa King of the Koopa Pack, a union of Koopa clans.
