Korrak the Bloodrager (also known as Korrak the Everliving) is a dire troll who used to inhabit Alterac Valley. He and his band of Ice trolls, the Winterax tribe, once controlled the Snowfall Graveyard at the start of every Alterac Valley battleground. He also dropped [Skull of Korrak] which was the objective of both an Alliance and a Horde quest.
Korrak once even controlled the Field of Strife in the middle of the valley. Later on he left and took up residence near a neutral troll graveyard after an avalanche nearly killed his tribe. Korrak and the Winterax Trolls have since left Alterac Valley for greener pastures.

Korrak encounter
In most Alterac Valley battles Korrak is simply trained away from the graveyard by a player while another one tries to capture it. Korrak in Patch 1.5 was a rather easy battle, since he had little armor, little health, little strength, and no resistance. Afterwards, he was drastically improved to the point at which many people decided it was useless to engage him. Players still willing had better had a good amount of people focused on him instead of the battle. Once engaged him with enough people it usually proved to be a rather simple fight.
Korrak's fate
In patch 1.10 Korrak was removed from Alterac Valley, along with most of the other non-alliance & non-horde NPCs (though harpies, troggs, gnolls and kobolds still exist). Since the Winterax originate from Northrend, it is possible that Korrak and his troll followers will return there once Wrath of the Lich King hits the retail.
