Lady Mara Fordragon was the High Clerist of the Kingdom of Stormwind during the period of the First War. After the orcs decimated much of the kingdom, Lady Fordragon became the patron of those refugees of the war who chose to flee to the northern nation of Lordaeron, which had thus far been untouched by the fighting.
A statue of Lady Fordragon can be seen in the Royal Gallery of the Stormwind Keep within the city of Stormwind. She has presumably passed away, due to the wording of the plaque below the statue. In addition, the other persons depicted in statues in the gallery, Llane Wrynn and Grand Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, are deceased (unlabeled statues identical to those of Archmage Khadgar and Ranger Captain Alleria Windrunner are also present - Khadgar and Alleria were thought to have been killed in the destruction of Draenor).
It is also likely that she is related to Highlord Bolvar Fordragon, the current regent to the child-king Anduin Wrynn. Given the time period in which she was active, she was most likely Bolvar's mother.
