Lakota Windsong is a tauren quest giver located at Darkcloud Pinnacle in Thousand Needles. She was once captured by Arnak Grimtotem who killed her brother and wanted to marry her. She was later freed by adventurers.

This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.

During the Grimtotem attack on Freewind Post, Lakota was, to her embarrassment, taken prisoner by Arnak yet again. After being freed she directs players to defeat Arikara. She later appears at the coast of the Twilight Bulwark where she directs players to free the prisoners, including Magatha Grimtotem.
