[Zierhut's Lost Treads] drop in Karazhan, which brings up the fact about how did his boots ended there? There might be several reasons:

• The Scarlet Crusade could tried to invade Karazhan. As it's seen by Karazhan's still haunted halls and rooms , it would seem that if Scarlet Crusade ever invaded it, they failed.
• His whole family was invited to Karazhan before the tower became haunted and he was the only one to escape while Medivh was undergoing his last stages of insanity.
• He was part of Anduin Lothar's assault team against Medivh and somehow lost his treads.
