These are the proficiencies of the three leatherworking specializations. The gear is BoP. Only one specialization can be held at a time.
Dragonscale Leatherworking
Dragonscale armor is mail armor. This provides a little over double the armor protection of leather armor.
Warriors and Paladins can wear plate armor by the time this is available, so Dragonscale mail armor will only appeal to former leather wearing shamans and hunters who can now wear mail.
Dragonscale Leatherworking has caster stat boosts, and seems to be best choice for shamans, but hunters are a type of caster and can benefit from these stats.
