Liang's Retreat is home to the old pandaren, Old Man Liang. It is located in the hills of the Singing Pools in the Wandering Isle, east of where Aysa Cloudsinger meditates within the "skunk pool".

Liang moved here after he grew too old to perform his duties. These included monitoring the population of the Water Pincers. He also broke off contact with his childhood friend and playmate, Shu, the ancient spirit of water. He is the only one to know of the spirit's whereabouts and how best to approach him.
