Interestingly, he apears to wear the old Dalaran tabard, worn by NPC's near Ambermill in Silverpine Forest. It is only obtainable by wearing the Dalaran Wizard's Robe, although the librarian is wearing a Lesser Wizard's Robe with the tabard.
