Lieutenant Dawnrunner shares her name with the ghost of a night elf found in Darkshore, Anaya Dawnrunner. Considering that Anaya died in the aftermath of the battle at the Well of Eternity, it is possible that she could be a distant relative of Lieutenant Dawnrunner, possibly an ancestor. Of course, it could also be a pure coincidence (most likely). She may also be related to Eldara Dawnrunner.
