Given her proximity to Captain O'Neal, Lieutenant Jackspring, and Sergeant Major Clate, along with her physical appearance, she may be a reference to Samantha Carter, one of the main characters of both Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, in which she worked with Jack O'Neill, Daniel Jackson and Teal'c ("Clate" being an Anagram of "Teal'c") to defend the Earth. Also nearby is Guard Hammon, this could possibly be a reference to General Hammond, also in Stargate.
