Linken was a level 40 quest giver located at Marshal's Refuge in the contested territory of Un'Goro Crater. He is small and wears a green tunic, wielding a sword, shield and boomerang, all very reminiscent of Link from the Legend of Zelda series. The quest sequence that Linken gave was a reference to The Legend of Zelda.

Trivia Edit

• After you complete the first "It's a Secret to Everybody quest, when you speak to Linken he says "I met a man that said 'Master using it and you can have this'". This is a reference to the Old Man at the beginning of The Legend of Zelda.
• If he is generated from the Firelands daily questline, he mounts a brown horse which is a reference to Link's horse Epona.
• Upon entering combat, he says quotes that reference to "Zelda: Faces of Evil" and the Zelda Cartoon.

Patch changes Edit

• Patch 4.2.0 (28-June-2011): Linken is one of several randomly spawned NPCs that assists people on the quest  [85] The Protectors of Hyjal in Mount Hyjal.

The latter is a reference to the Phillips CDI Game "Faces of Evil", while the former is taken from the Zelda Cartoon.
