LivingBombTCG

In the TCG.

Living Bomb is a Fire mage talent. It debuffs the target with a DoT, dealing damage over 4 seconds. After 4 seconds, the target explodes, instantly dealing damage to all enemies within 10 yards and spreads Living Bomb to them.

Notes[]

  • Each tick of Living Bomb's damage over time is capable of achieving a crit.
  • Living Bomb's explosion is only triggered when the spell reaches its full duration; dispelling the debuff will not cause it to explode.
  • The explosion will cause damage to crowd controlled enemies, breaking effects such as Spell nature polymorph [Polymorph].

Trivia[]

  • This spell may have been named after Baron Geddon's Living Bomb ability.
  • Living Bomb is...
  • During the Wrath of the Lich King beta, Living Bomb initially ignited the caster, causing them to deal damage to nearby enemies over time, then explode for additional damage. After changing it to an enemy-targeted spell, the developers experimented with putting an effect on the final explosion—first a mana burn effect, then later a knock-up effect. By launch, the explosion only dealt damage and had no additional effect.
