The Long Vigil was the period of history during which Tyrande Whisperwind and her sentinels kept watch over Kalimdor, while Malfurion Stormrage and the other druids slumbered in the Emerald Dream. It ended with the awakening of the druids at the second coming of the Burning Legion.
