Lord Banehollow is a level 59 quest giver located in Shadow Hold in the contested territory of Felwood. He is an elite Dreadlord, and the leader of Jaedenar, the seat of the Shadow Council on Azeroth. He is guarded by a wide variety of warlocks, demons, and his personal attendant Ur'dan. Any Warlock seeking to steal a Dreadsteed must deal with Banehollow by first drinking a Shadowy Potion. He assists and directs you in stealing the steed from a rival of his, Lord Hel'nurath of Xoroth.
"Banehollow" is also one of the random names given to the Dreadlord hero in Warcraft III.
