Loremaster of Outland is a meta-achievement that is itself part of the larger meta-achievement The Loremaster. It requires the player to complete a certain number of quests in each zone of Outland. Like the other quest achievements, the number of quests a character must complete per zone differs depending on if the character is Alliance or Horde.

Loremaster of Outland represented a departure in philosophy from WoW Classic (Vanilla) in that for the first time quests were divided by specific zones. Originally the requirement was for a specific number of quests per continent. For example, originally Alliance characters were required to complete 730 quests for Loremaster of Kalimdor while Horde required 700 over all zones. Those numbers were reduced in Patch 3.0.8 to 700 and 685 quests respectively. With The Burning Crusade each zone has a specific amount of questing required for its specific achievement.
