High Explorer Magellan assisted Brann Bronzebeard in taking advantage of the Explorer's Guild's collection of historical and cultural texts used in writing Chapter One of the Lands of Conflict. Brann thanks Magellan in an introductory letter addressed to High Explorer Tomli Magellas, his brother Magni Bronzebeard, and the Excursion Council, found within his book.^{LoC 11}
