Main Cosmos Window
This section of the guide covers the main window of the Cosmos Updater.
The screenshot above shows the main window with Cosmos installed on the system.
Update/Install Cosmos:This button will read Update Cosmos or Install Cosmos depending on whether cosmos is installed. When you click on the button the Updater will check the files and download any changed files that have been changed or missing. During the update process the button changes to read 'Cancel Update', clicking the button at that time cancels the update process. Once the process has fetched all the changed files you may be presented with the Install Window or the updater will automatically install the files.
Uninstall Cosmos: This button will remove all the files associated with the Cosmos install located in the World of Warcraft and Interface folders.
Configure: This button brings up the Configure Window.
Upload Data: This button is only visible when you have the 'Don't Upload Data' option specified for Thottbot data uploading. This allows you collect data and then choose when to upload the data. It is recommend that if you wish to upload data to Thottbot then you should use one of the auto options.
Exit: Quits the program.
Manage AddOns: This button brings up the AddOn Manager.
Run Wow: This button depending on the option selected with either run the game or run the launcher for the game.
There are several menu options that are of important to point out. The About box which appears under Edit or File depending on which platform you are on. Under Help there are links to the Cosmos Home page, the users guide and to Thottbot's website. The links under help are also listed in the lower right had corner of the main window.
Special Keys:
These keys can be held down as the program launches to perform certian actions.
P - Cancel Auto update
R - Perform Rollback. This cancels auto run and auto update
This key can be held down during a update.
K - Cancel Auto run. You can hit 'K' during a update check to cancel auto run for that update check.
