Manaforge Ara is one of the five facilities that "collect" the mana energies from the air of Netherstorm for Kael'thas' blood elves. It seems that the blood elves did not create the buildings but only conquered them.
Ara is located on a separate floating island directly north of Area 52. Not only are there blood elves inhabiting the manaforge, but there are also members of the Burning Legion — potentially indicative of Kael'thas' new loyalties.
