Mangletooth, a quilboar of the Razormane tribe, was a level 17 quest giver located in Camp Taurajo in the Horde-aligned territory of the Barrens. He was captured by the orcs and tauren and was awaiting his execution. At first, Mangletooth tried to convince players to attack the enemies of his tribe, the Bristlebacks, in hopes that this will convince his own tribesman to save him. However, after he sees his clansmates — Nak, Kuz, and Lok Orcbane — for who they truly are, he starts plotting his revenge...

If you brought him enough Blood Shards, he would cast the blessings of Agamaggan upon you.

He started and ended all the quests in the "Betrayal from within" quest chain:

  •  [21] Blood Shards of Agamaggan
    •  [25] Betrayal from Within (1)
      •  [25] Betrayal from Within (2)

After completing Blood Shards of Agamaggan, he would accept  [Blood Shards] in exchange for buffs in the following quests:

•  [20] Agamaggan's Agility (repeatable)
•  [20] Agamaggan's Strength (repeatable)
•  [20] Razorhide (repeatable)
•  [20] Rising Spirit (repeatable)
•  [20] Spirit of the Wind (repeatable)
•  [20] Wisdom of Agamaggan (repeatable)

In Cataclysm Edit

This section concerns content exclusive to Cataclysm.

During the attack on Camp Taurajo, Mangletooth was able to escape his prison and now leads the Razormane Quilboar.
