Useful info on Mac sound issues

WoW Mac Tech Support Forum

Half and half is my guess. Had the problem for a while after Wrath and finally got angry enough to do something about it, so I searched around for a bit, found something on the WoW Mac Tech Suppt Forum and messed around with it, may or may not have found something similar on an Apple Tech Suppt forum, fixed the problem by trial and error, forgot where I got the info and then posted it here.

Paragraphs...

Per your comment to Adys, thought I'd comment back... (On the assumption you were not exactly joking, that is...) You need an actual line of blank space, to get

a paragraph. (Like that.) Or, you can

add a couple of HTML break tags, though a single break tag will start the next text
at the start of the line despite wrapping.

You can also start a line with

':' (for an indent),

• '*' (for a bullet point), or

1. '#' for an numbered list line, all of which start the line at the left-hand column.

While I got you, is there a limit on how much info I can post on a page? Can't seem to find a policy on that, or reporting an admin for vandalism for that matter, heh. Here are your missing Soundfiles (removed) from that page

By the way you can see who made any changes and exactly what changes were made if you click on the History button at the top of the page - via that you can also click on teh edit button to copy any information that you want to keep ( such as the files ) - it will not let you save -- gives warning letting you know you are on a older edit for that page anyhow here are the files you posted - so that you wont loose them and can better organise or whatever with them -- ( Morph | Contribs | Talk ) 00:29, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks very much for solving my personal problem of having an easily accessible and searchable list available. Still think this should be available to the general public on Wowwiki, in a place that they're likely to find if they search for it. Youtube links

If you just want to link to the individual Youtube files then you are doing that fine -- but if you want the videos to be seen here all you have to do is put <youtube> and the code at the end of you link (after where it says v= < code >) then </youtube> and the video can be seen here via youtube -- like I put in your test secton -- (<span="help title=Morph>M o r p h | <span="help title=Morph_Contribution(s)_to_this_Wiki>^C | <span="help title=Morph_Discussion_Page>_T) 02:46, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Personal attacks? Just pointing out people abusing their supposed authority in a free forum I guess. Hit up his history and mine (which is apparently what he did) and you'll see fairly clearly what this is about. Either case I have neither the time nor inclination to defend my contributions on a wiki from people with tons more time on their hands or interest in this than I. Or hit up the history of Lord Jaraxxus and Anub'Arak pages. I was wondering why he'd leave the Feral guide video up though. All three videos are funny and relevant and have given every single raider I've talked to a good laugh since they're already familiar with the subject matter. This guy needs a life if his enjoyment of wow wiki comes from deleting relevant, pertinent and funny contributions. Enjoy dealing with people like that. I'd rather not. A few notes on Moving articles

When you move an article it would be most helpful to fix redirects to the new location, this of course can be done by clicking on the What links here link located on the left side of the window in the toolbox. Cheers. I have very little clue on how to do stuff like that - only reason I did was due to the old, obsolete nature of it. I'll be putting up a major article in a few days (Feral_Dps_Guide, draft is at http://coldbear.wordpress.com/dps-reference/) and will be looking for help on formatting of it.
