This was a rumored dungeon before Mists of Pandaria was released that appears on a rough map of Pandaria at BlizzCon 2011. On this map, the the "Mantid Colony" appears in the southwest of Townlong Steppes, but the Dread Wastes is not named. It was likely what became the Heart of Fear raid that ended up being in western Dread Wastes t roughly the same location as that new zone was basically the southern part of the original larger Townlong Steppes.
