In wow, Grunty, the Murloc marine, is a player companion pet who will attack any zergling pet it meets.
In Warcraft III, Marines were humans in space suits who fought against Space Fel Orcs in a bonus clip seen after the player beat Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne on the hardest difficulty level.
They are also found in the editor, Warcraft III World Editor.
