Marisa du'Paige is a level 18 rare human mage that spawns in the caves outside the Deadmines instance.

A Defias mage and a skilled transmuter, Du’Paige is the daughter of one of VanCleef's most skilled lieutenants, who was killed during the Stormwind City riot. Marisa, a golden-haired woman in her mid-twenties, always had an affinity toward both magic and cruelty; and the Defias Brotherhood gives her opportunities to indulge in both. She oversees operations in the upper levels of the Deadmines and the training of magical adepts.^[1]

Abilities

[Blizzard]^ω ϖ—Calls down a blizzard that lasts 8 sec., inflicting Frost damage every 2 sec. to all enemies in a selected area.
[Fireball]^ω ϖ—Inflicts Fire damage to an enemy.
[Frost Armor]^ω ϖ—Encases the caster in a layer of frost that lasts 30 min. The thick ice increases armor, slows melee attackers' movement, and increases the time between their attacks.
[Ice Lance]^ω ϖ—Deals Frost damage to an enemy target. Causes double damage against Frozen targets.

Former abilities

[Chains of Ice]^ω ϖ—Forms icy chains around the enemy, locking the target in place for 20 sec.
[Fireball]^ω ϖ—Inflicts Fire damage to an enemy.
[Polymorph: Chicken]^ω ϖ—Transforms the enemy into a chicken that cannot cast, and does 66% less damage for up to 10 sec.
[Sleep]^ω ϖ—Puts the enemy target to sleep for up to 20 sec. Any damage caused will awaken the target. Only one target can be asleep at a time. Unreliable on targets above level 30.
