This item drops from Overlord Wyrmthalak in Lower Blackrock Spire and is an extremely rare drop. The estimated droprate is 0.7%.
Notes
This ring's ability has a 30 minute cooldown from the moment it is used. The player loses the mana regeneration once they take 500 damage and the shield fades.
As a damage shield, the ring is inferior to that of the Talisman of Arathor / Defiler's Talisman due to its excessive cooldown timer.
Patch changes
Patch 1.3.0 (07-Mar-2005): Mark of the Dragon Lord has had its visual changed to better fit its effect, and the tooltip has been corrected.
