Marshal's Refuge is a neutral camp at the northern edge of Un'Goro Crater with a mixed population of stranded travellers near the entrance to a crystal-filled cave. Williden Marshal and his family are present along with the survivors of Marshal's Expedition.^[1]

Williden’s group claimed a cave in the north as its semi-permanent home in Un’Goro. Here these stalwart explorers live a primitive existence as they study the crater. Although among them they have the means to improve their settlement, none of them has bothered to spend the time doing so. They are too busy with their research. Vistors to the the place are advised to bring their own supplies — they only have enough to support themselves.^[2]

Trivia Edit

This zone contains numerous refences to the 1970's T.V. show Land of the Lost which focused on the adventures of the Marshall family (father Rick Marshall, son Will, and younger daughter Holly) who were trapped in an alien world inhabited by dinosaurs, and two NPC:s wearing mallets, short red-dressed Larion and long, green-dressed Muigin. They are clearly reference to Mario and Luigi.

In CataclysmEdit

This section concerns content exclusive to Cataclysm.

Stone Guardians have overrun the camp, and now most of the NPCs can be found at Marshal's Stand. The Refuge no longer serves as a quest hub or flight path.^[3]
