He is an easy mob that summons 10 level 62 guardians. He can teach Smelt Elementium; to do this a priest must mind control him, the priest can then cast a spell that teaches you how to Smelt Elementium. This can be taught to anyone within 100yrd range regardless of profession, although you have to be a miner to be able to use it.
