Meditation brings wisdom; lack of meditation leaves ignorance. Know well what leads you forward and what holds you back, and choose the path that leads to wisdom.
Meditation is a tier 3 talent which allows mana regeneration to continue while casting.

Tips and tactics
In PvE, this talent is essential for Holy Priests and useful for Shadow Priests in weaker gear. By allowing 30% of regular mana regen to occur while casting, it enables the priest to cast far more spells during a fight.
Shadow Priests in high end raid gear (Tier 6.5) can, thanks to the way Vampiric Touch scales, start dropping points in this for more beneficial talents (e.g. Imp. Vampiric Embrace).
Past changes
Patch 2.3 changed the regen while casting from 5/10/15% to 10/20/30%
