Mekgineer's Chopper is a motorcycle mount created by top Alliance engineers. This vehicle allows one party member to ride along in the sidecar. It's one of the few mounts that can be on the Auction house, however it will usually cost plenty of gold, considering the price of the mats to create it.
The Horde counterpart is Mechano-hog. Both fulfill the achievement

Activating the sidecar
To activate Mekgineer's Chopper's sidecar and carry a passenger, simply invite the player to a group. The player's pointer will turn into a green mounting arrow when they mouse over Mekgineer's Chopper, allowing them to jump on while the sidecar deploys itself automatically. Note that if you are in a raid group, your passenger must be in the same group (1, 2, 3...etc) as you to enter the side car.

- Note that it may take less or more cobalt ore to make the bolts (1-3 per 2 ores).
Notes
The components that can't be made, or skinned, can be purchased from Roxi Ramrocket at K3 in Storm Peaks for total cost of 12500 and are available for sale only to engineers able to craft this item. These components reportedly (see External Links) can also be extracted by an engineer from some mechanical corpses in Ulduar (instance), such as the Flame Leviathan.
Trivia
- The vehicle comes with a license plate with the letters "P", "W", and "N" on it.
- A Mekgineer's Chopper can be found outside Like Clockwork in the Magus Commerce Exchange district of Dalaran.
Patch changes
Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): This mount is no longer considered a vehicle.
