Menag, the Bandit Lord of the Bloodhill Bandits, accosted the farmer Gerard and his wife, Matilda when Arthas was in Strahnbrad. Menag stole Gerard's ledger. Without the ledger, Gerard would lose his farm. Menag then fled with his men across a river as he saw Prince Arthas, a paladin, approaching. Arthas hunted Menag down at the request of Gerard, killed Menag and got the ledger back.[1]
