Meridith the Mermaiden is a level 60 naga quest giver in Tanaris. She is encountered during the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest chain, and can be found off the eastern part of Land's End Beach.

She has been in love with Narain Soothfancy ever since he crashed (with a Gnomish flying machine, as expected) onto her shore, though it is implied that he kindly accepted her help and ran away as soon as he could (and realized that she was into him).

• She is one of the few friendly Naga in game. The others being the renegade Skar'this the Heretic, Veehja, and Zalashji who just roams a cave named after him.
