Can only be used after a dodge. Does not reset the swing timer.
If you have been pressed into melee and plan to use Mongoose Bite, turn on Aspect of the Monkey.
Talent improvement
Savage Strikes (Survival Talent) - Increases the critical strike chance of Raptor Strike and Mongoose Bite by 10%/20% (total of 2 ranks).
Resourcefulness (Survival Talent) - Reduces the mana cost of all traps and melee abilities by 20%/40%/60% and reduces the cooldown of all traps by 2/4/6 sec (total of 3 ranks).
