Monkeys will appear in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm as one of the sapient races on the Lost Isles. Monkeys are a distant relative to the Pygmy. They have been enslaved by the Pygmy race to mine Kaja'mite. The Kaja'mite has affected the monkeys and granted them extra intelligence.

As a hunter pet Edit

Monkeys will be treated as gorillas in terms of taming them, for the people that prefer cute little monkeys over huge bulky gorillas. Not as cute as the baby gorillas though.
