Moonhunters are a faction within the night elves. They fought alongside Cenarius against Grom Hellscream and the Warsong clan. The Nightblades destroyed one of the Warsong bases and the Moonhunters established themselves there. They sent periodic attacks against Grom's last base until a Witch doctor discovered a source of power. When Grom found this Chaos Well he and his clan drank from it and became chaos orcs, and with their burst of power killed the Moonhunters, the Starseekers, part of the Shadowleaves and finally Cenarius himself.^[1]
